Program Wins 4 Tournaments in One Weekend!
16U Wins their 2nd!
The U16 team handled business securing their 2nd straight tournament championship by winning the BYB Milwaukee Classic in dominant fashion with a 46-17 run differential for the tournament. Game #1 vs. Lake Country Lightning was a dog fight though. Brock Laskowski got the start and went 3 innings, striking out 5 and only allowing 1 run. Michael Bognar's big 2 out bases loaded single in the 4th put CMB ahead for good at 3-1. Collin Vander-Vliet and Landon Gusk came in to shut the door, allowing only 1 run in the final 3 innings to secure a 3-2 win.
Game #2 was a 9-4 win with Brett Selsor (2RBI) and Victor Lorino (RBI) both picking up big doubles. On the mound, Keanan Davis (3 inn) and Jack Tabbert (1 Inn) combined for 8 Ks.
In bracket play CMB asserted their offensive dominance! In the semifinals, the team took control early, scoring 7 runs in the bottom of the first highlighted by a 2 RBI double from George Hendricks and a 2 RBI triple from Jack Tabbert. On the mound, Cooper Wiltz held Richfield in check, allowing only 3 hits in 4 IP.
A sacrifice bunt in the 4th inning by Jack Tabbert would lead to 4 runs with big RBI singles from Brady Sandvik and Keanan Davis. CMB would go on to score 7 runs in both the 5th and 6th inning and cruise to a 19-6 victory. For the weekend, CMB hit .385 with 10 2B's and 5 3B's. Next up for the 16's is the PBR Open at the Rock..
CMB 15U Select Wins the BYB Milwaukee Classic!
Our 15's won their first tournament in 2025 with a come from behind 1-run win in the semifinals and walk-off win in the bottom of the 7th of the championship game!
Braydon Parent was outstanding in the championship game! going 2-3 with a 2B and a 3B scoring one run and knocking in another. He also pitched 2 innings of relief throwing 61% strikes. For the weekend, Caden Henderson and Lucas Schroeder led a strong offensive attack. Henderson was 5-12 with 2 3B's, 3 R and 5 RBI. Schroeder went 7-17 with 2 2B's and a HR, scoring 6 times and knocking in 6.
Key pitching performances from Eli Tabbert (4 IP, O R), Hudson Stanek (5.1 IP 8 K's) and Willem Sniadecki (who got the win in the championship with 2 IP 1 H 0R 2 K's) helped power our way through the weekend. Next up for our 15's is the PBR Open at the Rock. DAWG Week!!!!!
Both CMB 13U Club Teams win their Tournaments!
Congratulations to both of our 13U Squads for their tournament victories this weekend! CMB 13U (Kellen) won the Muskego Warrior Invitational with an 8-7 victory over a tough New Berlin Heat team. CMB (Brockel) secured their first tournament championship of 2025 with an exciting 8-7 win in their championship game! Future Select Dawgs in the making!!!
